1. Agreement to Terms
By using Content Calendar Ideas (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Changes to Terms or Services
We may update the Terms at any time, in our sole discretion. If we do so, we'll let you know either by posting the updated Terms on the Site or through other communications. It's important that you review the Terms whenever we update them or you use the Services.
3. Who May Use the Services
You may use the Services only if you are 13 years or older and are not barred from using the Services under applicable law. By connecting third-party social media accounts, you confirm that you have the right and authority to authorize us to access and use your account in the manner described in these Terms.
4. Content and Content Rights
For purposes of these Terms, "Content" means text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, works of authorship of any kind, and information or other materials that are posted, generated, provided or otherwise made available through the Services.
4.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the Content you create, upload, or submit to the Service. By uploading Content, you grant Content Calendar Ideas a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store your Content on our servers
- Publish your Content to your connected social media platforms on your behalf
- Process and format your Content as necessary to provide the Service
This license ends when you delete your Content or your account, except where we are required to retain it by law.
4.2 Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the Content you create and publish through the Service, including:
- Ensuring your Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
- Ensuring your Content complies with the terms of service and community guidelines of the social media platforms you publish to (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, etc.)
- Ensuring you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any Content you upload
- The accuracy, reliability, and appropriateness of your Content
4.3 Prohibited Content
You agree not to create, upload, or publish Content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights
- Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity
- Violates the terms of service of any connected social media platform
- Contains spam, advertising, or promotional content (unless that's your legitimate business purpose)
We reserve the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.
5. Social Media Integration
Our Service allows you to connect and publish to third-party social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Threads (collectively, "Social Media Platforms").
5.1 Authorization
By connecting a Social Media Platform account, you authorize us to:
- Access your account using OAuth authentication
- Publish content on your behalf to your connected platforms
- Retrieve basic profile information necessary to operate the Service
You can revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting your account through the Service or through the Social Media Platform's settings.
5.2 Third-Party Terms
Your use of Social Media Platforms through our Service is also subject to the terms of service and community guidelines of those platforms. You agree to comply with:
- Meta's Terms of Service
- Facebook Community Standards
- Instagram Community Guidelines
- Threads Supplemental Terms
We are not responsible for any actions taken by Social Media Platforms, including content removal, account suspension, or policy changes.
5.3 Publishing Responsibility
While we provide tools to schedule and publish content, you are solely responsible for:
- The timing and frequency of your posts
- Compliance with platform-specific posting limits and guidelines
- Monitoring and managing comments and engagement on your published content
- Any consequences resulting from your published content
6. Content Storage and Deletion
We implement the following content retention policy:
- Automatic Deletion: Uploaded content is automatically deleted 30 days after being published to Social Media Platforms
- Manual Deletion: You can delete your content at any time through your account settings
- Unpublished Content: Content that has not been published will be retained until you delete it or delete your account
- Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all your content is permanently deleted
7. General Prohibitions
You agree not to do any of the following:
- Use, display, mirror or frame the Services or any individual element within the Services, Content Calendar Ideas' name, any Content Calendar Ideas trademark, logo or other proprietary information, or the layout and design of any page or form contained on a page, without Content Calendar Ideas' express written consent;
- Attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any Content Calendar Ideas system or network or breach any security or authentication measures;
- Avoid, bypass, remove, deactivate, impair, descramble or otherwise circumvent any technological measure implemented by Content Calendar Ideas or any of Content Calendar Ideas' providers or any other third party (including another user) to protect the Services or Content;
- Use the Service to spam, harass, or distribute malware;
- Attempt to access another user's account without permission;
- Use the Service in any way that violates Social Media Platform terms or policies;
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through our account deletion page. When you delete your account:
- All your personal information will be permanently deleted
- All your content will be permanently deleted
- All social media connections will be disconnected
- All projects and calendar entries will be permanently deleted
- This action cannot be undone
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention.
9. Termination by Us
We may terminate or suspend your access to and use of the Services, at our sole discretion, at any time and without notice to you, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the Service.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranty of any kind. We explicitly disclaim any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment or non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not guarantee that:
- Your content will be successfully published to Social Media Platforms
- Social Media Platforms will not change their terms, policies, or API access
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Social Media Platform features will continue to function as expected
11. Limitation of Liability
Neither Content Calendar Ideas nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the services will be liable for any incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data or goodwill, service interruption, computer damage or system failure or the cost of substitute services arising out of or in connection with these terms or from the use of or inability to use the services.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Failed content publishing to Social Media Platforms
- Content removed or accounts suspended by Social Media Platforms
- Loss of social media followers or engagement
- Any issues arising from Social Media Platform policy changes or API changes
